AUDI’S INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM GETS A HUGE UPGRADE WITH ALEXA FOR 2022

If you want an Audi full of tech, 2022 may be your year!

For 2022, Audi has upgraded the MIB3 infotainment system with a few new features including Amazon Alexa voice support and more personalization options. Increased Amazon Alexa support has now been added, meaning this voice assistant now lets you turn on your living room lights, or even order groceries on the way home.

Some other features include increased Apple Music support which means users with an Apple ID and an Audi connect Prime or Plus subscription can now log into their account on the infotainment system and play music without pairing a phone.

In terms of personalization, this upgraded infotainment system now lets drivers create a profile by logging into their myAudi account to store their climate control, locking, lighting, seat settings, and preferences.

Then, through the myAudi app, these settings can be transferred to other Audi models, which is useful if a family shares multiple Audi vehicles. In addition, wireless Android Auto support has been added to the 2022 Audi Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, e-tron, and e-tron Sportback.

There has also been some upgrades to the car’s inbuilt navigation system as well as some added interior lighting for an increased personal touch.
